Google Maps Platform data

Google Maps data helps Aino understand amenities, places, addresses and local business context around a site. It is useful for mapping what exists nearby and describing the surrounding urban environment in a way that non-GIS teams can quickly understand.

Aino can use this source to support location intelligence workflows such as amenity access, nearby competition, local services and site context checks.

Common data categories

Amenities, businesses, points of interest, addresses, place names, local services and neighborhood context.

Attribute table

Typical fields include place name, category, address, coordinates, rating or business metadata when available, and source references.

What a Google Maps place record contains

A Google Maps record usually starts with a place name, address and location point. Aino reads it as a nearby amenity, business or address candidate that can be compared against a site.

Data shape: one point on the map, a place or address label, a category such as restaurant, school or store, and optional context such as address or rating when available.
