Official municipal layers
Aino uses municipal data from city, county and government portals to surface zoning, flood exposure, land-use rules and local constraints that are not always available in commercial catalogues. These layers are useful when a feasibility study depends on hyperlocal regulation or official public records.
The source is best used for early site screening, planning due diligence and validating whether a location has constraints that should be reviewed before design, acquisition or development decisions.
Common data categories
Zoning districts, flood zones, land-use classifications, public infrastructure, permits, local constraints and other official municipal datasets.
Attribute table
Typical fields include source authority, layer name, geometry, applicable zone or class, document references, update date and local identifiers.
What the municipal layer usually contains
A municipal dataset is usually a map layer plus a few plain-language labels: what rule or condition applies, which local authority published it, and where it applies on the map. In Aino this becomes a simple planning checklist rather than a technical file.
Data shape: polygons for zones or flood areas, points for local records, and source notes that explain the city or county document behind the layer.
